My graduating quarter is half way done. Yea. Life, as I've known it for the last 21 years, will no longer be the same. I've spent 16 of my 21 years, in school; that's more than 75% of my life! What the heck is life gonna be like without homework, or squeaky dry erase markers or last minute crunch-time-sessions-in-the-library, with practically the whole class? I realized last week, I'm gonna miss it!
But, today I start a new job. I get closer to graduation and a life I get to decide how to live. That's some pretty big britches to fill. Yet, at the same time, totally liberating. It's amazing all the options you have: from mountains to cities, God or Buddha, comfort or style, even paper or plastic. But no really, one thing I took away from the Sex and the City 2 movie was Carrie and Big's philosophy. Life doesn't have to be this black and white thing society has listed over how many centuries. Paint your life in color! Decide what you feel comfortable with, no matter what other people perceive. You've got one shot, explore every option.
To finding the true you-
and what that means for your lifestyle,
Elisa
