THE REAL MAD MEN

Last Wednesday, I was invited to a Mad Men inspired showing of Art & Copy; I got to mingle with some of the real mad men that inspired the show. I really went for an excuse to get dressed up and see one of my favorite professors; he's such a sweet guy! He brought myself and all my classmates candy; I'd sell my soul for airheads ;)

But what I got out of it was so much more than pretty 50's & 60's inspired garb photos, if I can say so myself.  It was a breathe of fresh air.  A jolt to my inspiration.  Something, I think, every creative person needs and appreciates. It really made me think about what I wanted to do and what type of environment I wanted to be a part of. I love thinking about that, planning and dreaming about the future. What films inspire you?

You can learn more about the film here. I wouldn't recommend it for everybody; I just enjoy dabbling in advertising and learning about creative fields. The last picture shows you the venue for the party. Point Park University, it was quite beautiful. I love old architecture!
Dare to dream,
Elisa

  1. My sister went to school for cinema at Point Park. I have been in that very room to view senior and junior films multiple times. It's a lovely little theater. I love the outfit! Lovely bag as well.
