So I have a slight obsession with a few trendsetters back in the 60's, one of my favorites though is Andy Warhol's muse, Edie Sedgwick. Makeup was a huge creative outlet for Edie, she was famous for her black eyes, false eyelashes and pale lips. Edie inspired the fashion world more than anything else, with her short hair, huge earrings, furs, dark eyebrows and ultra high heels. It was very avant-garde during her generation. And with spring and summer here it's the perfect time to wear some Edie-inspired outfits, even if it's just taking little pieces and seeing how they work with your style. It's simple!
She wore everything with opaque black stockings, striped t-shirts and sweaters (anything with a boatneck); minidresses and berets were all so her favorite. Who's your favorite fashion icon?
"I'll have to put more earrings on. I bet that someone could analyze me and tell my condition by my earrings..." Edie Sedgwick
